The Commissioner General of the Polish Section of the World Exhibition EXPO 2010 is Sławomir Majman.

COMMISSIONER GENERAL:

• Organization of national display;
• Informing the Commissioner General of the Exhibition about the Polish display;
• Supervision over compliance with the rights and obligations of the exhibitors.

And in particular:

• Representation of the Polish government in contacts with the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE);
• Current analysis of documentation concerning principles and terms of participation;
• Conduct of research concerning the most effecting form of promoting Poland;
• Presentation of program concept along with detailed cost estimate of participation in the Exhibition (approval of the Council of Ministers);
• Preparation of documentation and conduct of procedure of selection of contractors of Polish participation in the Exhibition (tender);
• Initiation of creation of structures of honorary patronage, support and lobbying and organization of supervision over the venture;
• Taking of an initiative aimed at ensuring funds for execution of the venture, originating from the budget and sponsors;
• Supervision over timely and compliant with requirements of the organizers preparation of the Polish display, execution of the program of the Polish presentation and liquidation of the display

The Commissioner General of the Polish Section cooperates with entities connected with promotion of Poland, such as:

• Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland,
• Chancellery of the Prime Minister,
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
• Ministry of the Economy,
• Ministry of Culture and National Heritage,
• Other departments connected with promotion of Poland abroad,
• Administrative and local regional authorities,
• Television and public radio,
• Artistic, scientific, technological environments,
• Commercial chambers, organizations of business self government, business communities.

Also co-operate with:

• The Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency,
• The Polish Tourist Organization,
• The Adam Mickiewicz Institute,
• The National Frederic Chopin Institute,
