The Organizer along with the participants of EXPO 2010 intends, by developing the theme „Better City, Better Life”, to achieve the following objectives:

• Enhancement of social consciousness regarding challenges, problems entailed by the urban age,
• Striving for preservation of city heritage,
• Improvement of communication and understanding in human communities,
• Searching for models of sustainable development,
• Popularization of ideas, verified solutions and innovations in actions in favor of sustainable city development,
• Enhancement of social consciousness of development of so-called „sound cities” – development without adversely affecting the health of residents, without destruction of the environment;
• Building of rich urban heritage – spiritual and physical,
• Enhancement of effect of World Exhibitions, by development of their themes, on city development.
