By decision of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) in Paris, the World Expo in 2010 shall take place in Shanghai, China, between May 1 – October 31, 2010 (it will be a universal exhibition).

The planned profile of visitors to the World Exposition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai
It is anticipated that the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai will be the largest in the history of world exhibitions. It is to be visited by 70 million people. 90-95% of them will be Chinese, and guests from outside China will be about 5 million.
